Thank you for the followup. It appears that Book the infomation this came from has many many errors in it. I think many of the children listed were not Joshua's Children.Joshua is my gg-grandfather and below is the info I have on him. @ generations are includes.

Marriage of John M. Ramey, age 20 born in Lawrence Co, KY on 14 Mar 1855 in Johnson Co, KY to Mary M. Daniel, age 17, born in Floyd Co, KY (source:

Vital Statistics of Johnson Co, KY 1852-1904, by Wells)

John served in the Civil War for the North and was with a West Virginia

regiment. After the war he returned to Coon Creek in Kentucky where he

died about six months after discharge. (source: unknown) Since this note

says he was in a WV unit I'd check there also--just in case.
