Transition day. Travel from Inzing to Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Garmisch.P.)

Gastehaus Angela. (26Euro/person inc. breakfast). Whoa, that's inexpensive, and this place is really nice.

Pick up Mike at the train station (2pm).

Walkabout Garmisch. Fun, lots of outdoor cafes, but too touristy for more than a day's visit.

Base for two upcoming hikes:

• Day 1: Ehnenbichl --> Ehrenberg Castle ruins and Neuschwanstein Castle (Fussen/Hohenschwangau.)
• Day 2: Hollental-Klamm falls hike, plus loop back via Hollentalanger Hutte and Osterfelderkopf Hutte.
