To get there is kind of complicated. Go to by Metro from Retiro to Independence by line C (blue). Change to line E (purple) to the end that is the Plaza of the Virreyes. And ride out the Premetro E2 (yellow) and get down in Escalada. The best thing there is getting a taxi.

Not everyone knows the name of this golf course makes a great honor to the sport. Mr. José Jurado may be called the father of the Golf Professional for Argentina's by three main ideas. The first was opening the era of travel to major international championships as the only way to progress the golfer.

The second was that on his trip to America in 1932, knew the workings of the PGA and the back, carried on the organization of professionals in the AAPG (Argentina Association of Professional Golf).

The third and equally important was to initiate the recruitment of international figures to teach local fans the nascent American style swing, and indirectly its second place in the British Open 1931 - Scottish court in Carnoustie, where he was a Tommy Armour hit, "caused such an uproar among athletes, that golf became known in the overnight, and encouraged Hannibal Vigil, owner of Editorial Atlándtida, to create the great magazine" The Argentine Golfer " a compendium of history, without which it would be virtually impossible to find the origins of golf in Argentina.

The course is 18 holes par 72 (37 and 35 round trip) with a total of 6706 yards (score 72.2) from blue outputs, from output 6428 yards 6428 yards from knights and ladies output. The greens in general are in excellent condition except for a couple of them come to see their own abuse of public golf courses. The fairways are spacious parkland type very well marked and generally without land or land areas under repair.

The challenge of the course starts right in the hole 1, and must cross a lake to the first shot, so if you did the previous warm gentle pull but lost his first ball. The fairway is wide with trees on both sides and has a dogleg to the right just before the green. This hole is a par 5 of 504 yards for blue and 453 outlets for women (handicap 13). Then come two par 4, 2 and 3, for 412 yards and 397 yards from blue outputs respectively. Both with a slight dogleg left. The hole 2 has trees on both sides of fariway and 3 has a water hazard that protects the green from the right and bunkers on the left side (handicap 3)

Hole 4 is a par 5 of 545 yards (blue), 532 yards (men) and 484 yards (ladies). It has a water hazard at the beginning, 3 cross bunkers on both sides of the fairway, and trees and a small dogleg to the left at 260 yards from tee. Hole 5 is the first par 3 of the court-yard output with 181 blue, 160 for men and 145 for ladies. It is not very complicated and can relax and enjoy the short game. Hole 6 is a par 5 of 525 yards for blue output with a big dogleg to the right at 240 yards from the tee and a green protected by a height bunker right and a natural elevation of the court to left. Then comes another par 3, Hole 7, 159 yards from the blue output tee height and looking almost the entire golf course. Hole 8 is a par 4 of 424 yards with a dogleg to the left near the end of the course and hole to hole 9 is a par 4 of 398 yards (handicap 1) the difficulty of having to play the above aproach of the pond which defends the hole. If you play high handicap is preferable to "spend" a shot and leave it near from the lagoon to an easier approach shot, you lose the ball with the resulting penalty kick.

The second round begins with a par 4 (hole 10) with the tee located before the lake that protects the hole 9. The fairway is wide and has two cross bunkers on both sides of it to the 260 yards from the tee. Hole 11 is the last par 5 ("luckily" say those who do not like to walk a lot ...) of the court. Its length is 528 yards from blue and 462 outputs from output of ladies, with a fairly sharp dogleg to the left at 240 yards. The 12 is another par 3 of just 134 yards (blue) and output 119 from ladies. It has no major complications except for one out of bounds to the right of it (it is right next to the download area of the Jumbo Supermarket). Then come 3-hole, par 4 (13, 14 and 15). Only 14 is a bit complicated because it has a water hazard that defends the green and a large bunker on the right.

Hole 16 is the last par 3 on the court with 220 yards for blue output, 196 for men and 154 for ladies. This and the following have a small dogleg to the right. Hole 17 is a par 4 of 410 yards and the hole 18 is also a par 4 of 405 yards complicated as the hole 9, in which to reach the green you have to go the lake making a fairly accurate shot.

After the turn and take a break, nothing beats the terrace bar. It is a course that has everything: water, sand, challenges, fun and warmth of its people. Not for nothing is one of the most visited of the "capital" (as the interior). Do not miss it if you come to Buenos Aires for a walk, or live here, is an excellent proposal !!!!!...

It is barbaric. In recent years, has markedly improved. Well pasted bermuda fairways, great design (originally in English Sounders, who was inspired by the Miramar) that makes you never get bored on the court. The white tees are a bit uneven compared to the blue are very good.

There are water hazards on holes 4 and 4-leg spin. The most complicated are the 9, especially with short flag, surrounded by water. And the 14, about 6 years ago has a new green behind the hazard and whether pica lie still back in the water. And if you throw stick more "you play from the gondola Jumbo wine."

The fairways are narrow and a court with a lot of afforestation, which fortunately has no low branches. The problem is to miss the fairway by little, because if fail much is shot from another fairway.

Many bunkers and some cross bunkers, fill the landscape of this magnificent link American style, whose most salient feature is its 15 bentgrass and similar greens built to USGA standards. The final 3 holes still have greens with Bermuda, but at least are large in size, but not as much as the average 600 square meters of new ones.
