Christmas in July. Stewart Transport did a fantastic job getting the '33 into my neighborhood and to the house. This was a BIG truck so I'm glad I live in a quasi-cul-de-sac. If I had been on a regular street I don't know how this would have worked. We weren't able to get the truck with the crane so I needed to have some guys come over to help with the unload. We had 5 total including the driver and I think one more would have been better. To keep the lower trunk clear of the truck bed the driver suggested we put a 7' 2x4 across the frame under the rear wheel wells. This worked well (though I had one corner by myself!). We were able to quickly bring her in and set up on jack stands. The whole process from truck arriving to driving off was only about 1 1/2 hours. Not bad!
The truck backing into the driveway. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be such a large truck. Good thing I live in a cul-de-sac, otherwise I have no idea how this would have worked.
Lots of boxes and body panels.
Here is the body on frame. This truck didn't have the crane so we needed some muscle to make it happen. I wish I had pictures.
Reid and I ready to get started.
Fully loaded into garage.
