After weeks (years?) of planning, budgeting and pleading - on 5/30/12 I finally pulled the trigger on my dream and purchased the Factory Five Racing '33 Hot Rod Kit. FFR's ready date was 6/23 and after some coordination with Stewart Transport the final plan of a 7/2 arrival date was put in motion. I couldn't be more excited. Before I could accept the car I needed to turn the mountain of junk and trash in my garage into a functional and ready place to do a build such as this. My wife put her foot down that the she wanted the floor epoxied and the junk cleared. This gave me about 4 weeks to get everything ready. Luckily I was able to pull this off and not only clean the garage and the floors we also painted the walls, installed an A/C and completely reorganized everything. During this time I also located, purchased and received my engine and tranny. All of which took up quite a bit of time and space. The engine/tranny arrived on an 8' pallet that was not only cumbersome but too big for the engine hoist. Some creating engineering and no small degree of assistance from wifey and we got the engine relocated to a dolly and the large crate broken down. '33 Hot Rod Options Ordered: - Power coat
