Diigo Activity

You will be reading an online article and sharing your comments to the NTI Year 2 Diigo Group. When you click the "NTI Tech Workshop Group" you should click the "Apply to join it" link.

After you have created an account and installed your Diigo toolbar please annotate / highlight / add sticky notes about your thoughts about blogger Kelly W. Hines' opinion about the importance of true teaching and learning with technology. This is like a discussion forum, except it is hosted (happens) right on the web page itself.

How do you know if your students read an online article? What are they thinking while they are reading online? (these are rhetorical questions) :)

  • Remember Diigo has an educator's account that you can use with your students safely.

    • You can use Diigo to collect web resources for students and dynamic make changes to those resources through the use of social bookmarking, lists and webslides. If Diigo is not new to you, how are you allowing your students to use this powerful tool?
