From 2024, Silver Oaks is encouraging only school transport to avoid traffic jams and reduce carbon emissions. It is a service to the civic society and environment.

A note on the transport system

Silver Oaks School transport system strives to provide, safety and convenience to all the students who avail the facility. Nearly 85% of our students use this facility and almost 90% of our team also use the school transport.

All our 62 buses are periodically serviced. 1 standby bus is also arranged. As per the State govt. norms, cameras are connected in the buses.

Discipline is ensured in the buses through ‘silence days and 40 decibel days’.

ICUE is the app for tracking the GPRS and receiving notifications.

Our Managing Director, Mr. Dhanunjaya personally monitors the transport system with a team of admin and transport staff. We try our best to make school transport as a facility for the larger number of students and unable to make it as a personal convenience. Parents' cooperation and understanding is expected.

Additional Information

There are women attenders in almost all the buses.

Parents are advised to reach the bus stage 5 minutes before time to avoid delays in dropping or picking up.

Anyone other than parents should carry ID Cards to pick up children from the buses. Otherwise, they will not be handed over. They will be taken back to school. Parents will have to come to school to pick them up.

Own Transport

Although we have a strong reason against own transport, there are parents who still opt for it.

Children who are dropped by parents should be inside the campus by 7.45AM. Gates will be closed by 7.55AM. No entry after 8AM.

Parents who come to pick up children can do so after the buses leave. Otherwise, traffic cannot be controlled.

Transport In-Charge
Note: At the time of admission, parents are informed that routes or stops cannot be changed for personal convenience as it is a school bus that cannot possibly meet everyone's convenience. Parents take admission only after understanding this agreement.

School has developed a system of seating. Parents are expected to teach children the same thing.

The transport in charge takes care of the routes and stops. Parents can contact the following number for any issues.
Contact No: 9440800694

Phone number of the Bus Attender of the child will be shared through a message.

Driver's number is not shared as he should concentrate on driving.

A buddy system is in place to take care of the little acorns.

PS: We train our transport staff to be respectful, calm and balanced at all times. However, their response depends on our tone. Talking down to them or using unpleasant language is strictly discouraged.
