About Me

I am thrilled to be the School Counselor at John Paul II Academy. I grew up in New Berlin, Wisconsin. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1991 from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. My major was Teaching English. After graduation, I taught middle school Language Arts in the Milwaukee Public School District. Soon after, I began my graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I graduated in 1995 with a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. This allowed me to follow my passion for helping to develop the whole child as a School Counselor. Throughout my career, I have been a middle school counselor in the Milwaukee and Sheboygan Area School Districts, as well as an elementary school counselor in the South Milwaukee School District.

My husband, Tom, and I live in Franklin, WI and are blessed with 4 children. Three of our children, Gretchen, Amelia, and Charlie, attend the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Peter will be a junior in high school. When I am not at one of the kids activities, I love to read, cook, travel, and exercise.

I look forward to helping each student at John Paul II Academy grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I am always available to discuss concerns you may have regarding your child's development.
