Fifth graders used i-Movie for the first time and created these book trailers and ancient civilization videos. After watching several examples, students determined what elements made the videos stand out and therefore should be included in theirs. Things like an introduction, music that enhanced and not detract from the video, and for the book trailers- just enough to tease and generate interest without giving away the whole story. Students used image sites like Pixabay, Unsplash, and Wikimedia Commons and used Pixabay or Pond 5 for music.
