Assemblies

Each year, one of the highlights is the Fourth Grade Play. This year was even more special as the students wrote the whole play as part of their Young Playwrights experience.

The Kindergarten students spend several weeks doing experiential learning on the topic of Knights and Castles. They learn about the qualities of a knight, build their own castle, set goals and aspirations for moving from a Squire to a Knight and then culminate with a Knighting Ceremony and then a production of a play. The play, A Hard Days Knight teaches about tolerance, friendship, sharing, and getting along peacefully with your neighbors.
