Digital Citizenship Presentations
Fifth grade students have spent many lessons throughout their time in the Lower School learning about digital citizenship. Each year as they come to school with new experiences, they engage in the conversations differently from the year before. This year after several conversations and videos about personal safety and watching what you post, the students were charged with creating their own digital citizenship lesson to teach someone of their choosing about the importance of being a smart and safe digital citizen. They were asked to have a specific person in mind (sibling, younger friend, book buddy) so that they could think about what rules were applicable to that age group and how best to share them in an age-appropriate way. Students selected either Google Slides or Tynker.
