This lab walks students through the process of making cement, since it is such an important Engineering material.
The lab covers cement's mixing design parameters and how these influence microstructure formation, and thereby the final material properties which will be obtained.
Students work through the manufacturing process, and will also conduct cement-specific tests on cured samples.
