What does this filter include?

This 'Competition Lab' filter is often well suited to group-based activities. Some activities (while important) might be quite straightforward or just a bit dull. Adding a competitive element to a lab can be a great way to inject some excitement into an activity (particularly if there are prizes on offer) and can also encourage students (or teams of students) to think more creatively and come up with innovative solutions to problems.

The examples given here are on the more complex end of lab activities - but competition aspects are easy to implement in simpler labs too, and can be effective ways to spice up a dull session....you've probably heard of gamification!
