Edmonton Public Schools provides yellow bus service to a student’s designated school if they are:
in Kindergarten to Grade 6 and live at least one kilometre away, or
in Grades 7 to 12 and live at least two kilometres away and Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) is not available.
There are two types of yellow bus service:
Inhouse Curb Services
Students ride small to moderate sized specially equipped school buses. This minimizes the number of riders per bus and allows for curbside pick up and drop off, where possible.
Fixed Bus Route
Students ride standard yellow buses. They are picked up and dropped off at designated stop locations along with other neighbourhood children.
