The View Attendance page will allow the user to review attendance that has been entered by the parent or taken at the school for the entire school year.  Schools can take either homeroom attendance or period attendance to track student absences.  SchoolZone will display information on both types of attendance reporting.

This type of attendance tracking is more common at the Elementary schools where students first class is homeroom where attendance is entered once for the morning and once for the afternoon.  On the right of the calendar is a legend that gives a description of each of the two digit attendance codes that have been entered for the month.

Period attendance tracking is more commonly used at the Junior and Senior School level.  Attendance is taken for each period or class that the student has throughout the day.  The legend located underneath the calendar will give a description of each of the two digit attendance codes that appear during the selected month.  You can navigate through differnet month's of attendance by clicking on the arrow heads located in the head of the calendar.  To get a more detailed description of days that attendance have been entered you can click on a particular day to view a breakdown of the periods for that day, this is displayed to the right of the calendar.
