Analysis of Student Work
STEP 7e. Analysis of Student Work
In Step 7e, you'll reflect on your class's overall performance as a result of implementing the strategies learned from your research. Including the measurable outcome, you will identify the overall class performance. You will collect samples of the following:
1) Baseline measurement of Focus Student 1. This is a measurement conducted prior to the implementation of the strategy.
2) Measurable outcome of Focus Student 1. This is the measurement conducted after the implementation of the strategy. This measurement will demonstrate either growth or loss according to the metric of measurement designated for the Action Research Focus Question.
3) Baseline measurement of Focus Student 2. This is a measurement conducted prior to the implementation of the strategy.
4) Measurable outcome of Focus Student 2. This is the measurement conducted after the implementation of the strategy. This measurement will demonstrate either growth or loss according to the metric of measurement designated for the Action Research Focus Question.
5) Baseline measurement of Focus Student 3. This is a measurement conducted prior to the implementation of the strategy.
6) Measurable outcome of Focus Student 3. This is the measurement conducted after the implementation of the strategy. This measurement will demonstrate either growth or loss according to the metric of measurement designated for the Action Research Focus Question.
7) Evidence of the implementation of the new strategy or new learning of the project.
You will upload student work samples for your focus students 1, 2, and 3. Use the slide deck linked in your ILP.
You will reflect and analyze your findings for each of your focus students. You will identify and analyze the progress of each focus student from the beginning of the project to the end.
Be sure to note that your analysis needs to include measurable outcomes.
