Action Research Project

Candidates will answer these questions to develop Action Research Focus Question for Step 7.

Candidates will:

(5) Date their research. The date of the research must fall after the approval date of ARFQ.

(6) List the duration of the research. Please write the duration in hours, with only numbers in the cell.

(7a) Name the resource utilized in the research. Include , name the resource, and

(7b) Specify the new knowledge acquired from the research and how it was connected to your focus question.

(7c) Use the dropdown menu to label and organize the type of research conducted. 

(8) Candidates will describe how the new knowledge was implemented in their teaching 

(9) Candidates will describe the measurable impact of the implementation. What was quantifiably measurable to gauge student achievement increase/decrease or your own teacher practice?

 ***Mentors- This is where mentors will input their mentor observation notes from the mentor observation that takes place at the half-way point of the action research project. Your mentor observation will be a line item of research that counts towards your candidate's 15 hours of research.
