STEP 7d. Action Research Focus Student Selection

In Step 7d, you'll select 3 students to represent the range of learners in your classroom. 

Below is a sample of how you may wish to identify focus students.

Focus Student 1 is either: English learner or reclassified English learner

Focus Student 2 is a student with Student Study Team (SST), IEP, Intervention team

Focus Student 3 is a student performing at/or above grade level that has special circumstances or needs additional supports or interventions. 

Then, you'll identify what support or resources you anticipate each student will need along with the differentiation strategies you will employ. You will also identify what is the metrics of success (How will you know that the student successfully learned the content you presented).
