I CAN'T SIGN IN!

Check your username and password, that you are signed into the correct account, and are accessing the correct website. Click to learn more.

Double-check you have entered the correct details when trying to log on.  Sometimes you have to enter your full password and sometimes just your username, without @my.sduhsd.net.

Your username is your last name(s), first initial, and last four numbers of your ID. It should look something like this: jacksonp1234.

Always remember to keep a note of your password! If you have forgotten or need to reset your password, you can reset it here.  Need help? Check out this video or visit the Learning Commons for help.

ARE YOU SIGNED INTO THE RIGHT ACCOUNT?

This is the most frequent problem students experience. Fortunately, it has an easy solution.

If you can't sign in to your District account, it might be because your computer/device is already signed into a different account. Do you have a personal Gmail address? Do your parents/guardians? You might already be logged into one of these.

Make sure you are signed out of all other accounts before trying to access your District account. Here is a quick tutorial for keeping your Google accounts separated when working on a personal device (or any device with multiple users).

ARE YOU ACCESSING THE RIGHT SITE?

Be sure to use the links on the student start page, my.sduhsd.netThis page contains direct links to all the pages you will need to access, including the SDUHSD Aeries portal.

If you try finding sites simply by Googling them, it can sometimes lead to the wrong place or a different district's portal.

MY CHROMEBOOK IS SO SLOW!

First check for Chrome OS updates and restart your Chromebook.

If that doesn't fix the problem, check out this resource to troubleshoot common issues.

MY CHROMEBOOK WON'T TURN ON!

Charge your Chromebook.  Sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes for your Chromebook to turn back on if it has been sitting for a long time or seems like the battery is dead.

If the screen in black but the side power light is on, try pressing the power button for 20 seconds until the light goes out.  Then press it again to turn the Chromebook back on.
