SORA EBOOKS

All SDUHSD students have access to free eBooks and audiobooks through Sora.  For detailed information about Sora's many features, please click HERE.

To access Sora, all you need to do is click the Sora button on the my.sduhsd.net start page and sign in with your SDUHSD Google account.

HOW TO ACCESS SORA ON DIFFERENT DEVICES

KINDLE

Click this link and sign into Sora.

Browse our amazing collection of eBooks until you find a title you would like to read. Click the blue 'BORROW' button.

To get the book on your Kindle

TABLET

Go to the App Store on your tablet and download the app for Sora

When you sign into the app for the first time, you will be asked for the name of your school. Search for 'SAN DIEGUITO UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT'. 

Once you have selected the District, you will be asked to sign in using your Google account. Make sure to use your SDUHSD Google account to log in.


SMARTPHONE

Go to the App Store on your phone and download the app for Sora

When you sign into the app for the first time, you will be asked for the name of your school. Search for 'SAN DIEGUITO UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT'. 

Once you have selected the District, you will be asked to sign in using your Google account. Make sure to use your SDUHSD Google account to log in.

LAPTOP/DESKTOP

To access eBooks on a personal computer or laptop, click HERE

You will be asked for the name of your school. Search for 'SAN DIEGUITO UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT'.

Once you have selected the District, you will be asked to sign in using your Google account. Make sure to use your SDUHSD Google account to log in.

Congratulations! You can now download eBooks! It really is that simple.

San Diego County Library

Students also have access to the San Diego County Library's eBook Juvenile and Young Adult collections through Sora! Click this box for more information.

Did you know that you can use your District Sora account to also access books from the San Diego County Library collection? You don't even need to sign up for a library card!

You can now jump back and forth between these two collections. The green dot indicates the collection you are currently signed in to. 

Helpful hint: If the book you want to read is unavailable in the SDUHSD collection, hop over to the County Library collection and see if it is there instead.
