Poetry Unit: Sneaky Poetry

Sneaky Poetry gives interesting clues that 'sneak up' to reveal the subject

  • Print the template below to write your poem OR use a separate piece of paper

  • Choose an object to write about

  • Write down your clues and then the name of your object on the bottom line

  • Read the poem to someone else and see if they can guess your object!

I have included an example of a poem I wrote below:

I am shaped like a cylinder

I come in many colors

I shrink as I'm used
