Fast Facts Friday

Each Friday we will be practicing our basic addition and subtraction facts!! Yay!!!

  • I have included a copy of 30 'Fast Facts' for you to complete. You can print the page OR write the answers separately OR say the answers out loud.


**When Printing: I have noticed if you go to print the sheets, they only print in the top corner of the page. To FIX this and print a full page, open the file and then look on the bottom tool bar that pops up and you will see a picture of a 'gear'. Click on that and scroll to 'more' and then print it from there and it should come up as a full page.

Daily Calendar - 5 minutes

  • Review today's date: Friday, April 17th

  • Briefly talk about the weather today and what it is like outside

  • Count the days of school: today is day 132

    • Count: 100, 110, 120, 130, 131, 132

  • Today's secret number clues:

    • You say my name when you count by 2's and 10's

    • I am more than 50

    • I am less than 70

    • What am I?

Spelling Activity - 15 minutes

Week 25 word test:

  • I sound each word out for the students and repeat it several times while they are writing them down

  • Have your child write their words down on paper or a whiteboard if you have one

  • On the tests, there is always a bonus word that students enjoy challenging themselves on

  • Week 24 Words - 'ow' words

Physical Education Activity - 30 minutes
