Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 Marvel movie directed by Jon Watts. It is the final installment in the Spider-Man homecoming trilogy. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ/Michelle Jones, and Benedict Cumberbach as Dr. Strange. The movie earned $600 million on its opening weekend, making it the third largest film to launch worldwide. I went to see it opening weekend, and I honestly think that it is one of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. The prior eight Spider-Man movies can’t hold a candle to it.
The movie picks up where Spider-Man, now far from home, is bombarded by the media. The supervillian Mysterio, announced to the world that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, and later frames Spider-Man for murder. The negative publicity makes things quite difficult for him and his friends. Peter goes to see Dr. Strange and asks him to cast a spell to make everyone forget that he’s Spider-Man. However, Peter's demands interfere with the spell. Later, Peter has to help find the villains, and make them return to their universes.
I think that this movie is the best out of all the Marvel movies because of its plot, the special effects, and how well the story was written. The story has suspense, excitement, comedy, and a little romance. I love that they brought back two older Spider-Man actors, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. I also enjoyed the fact that they brought back the villains from the previous Spider-Man movies such as Doc Ock, The Lizard, Electro, Sandman, and Green Goblin. The movie will leave you feeling nostalgic if you have seen any of the older Spider-Man movies. The ending (which I'm not going to reveal here) will blow your mind. I absolutely loved it.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is rated PG-13 because of some mild language and violence. I would give this movie 5 stars. It is absolutely worth going to watch!

Dr. Emmett Brown - Christopher Lloyd
Biff Tannen - Thomas F. Wilson
Jennifer Parker - Claudia Wells
George McFly - Crispin Glover
Linda McFly - Wendy Jo Sperber

E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial, is a 1982 movie directed by legendary movie director, Steven Spielberg. It is about a gentle alien who gets stuck on earth, and meets and befriends a young boy named Elliot. The film is very touching and heartwarming. It stars Henry Thomas as Elliot, Dee Wallace as his mother, Robert MacNaughthon as his older brother, Drew Barrymore as Gertie Taylor, Elliott and Michael's younger sister, and Pat Welsh as the voice of E.T.
The movie takes place in a town in California in the 1980s. Aliens visit a forest to collect Earth plants, and one of them (E.T.) becomes separated and hypnotized by the nearby city lights. The government soon arrives and chases E.T, and the others leave, stranding E.T. Elliot soon meets him when he discovers the alien among a field of cornstalks. Elliot takes E.T. in and soon realizes that they share a psychic link. What they don’t realize is that they are secretly being spied on by the government. Later, E.T. is found by a culvert, and the government takes him in to investigate. And the rest? Well, you’ll have to watch the movie to find out.
In conclusion, I give this movie a 4.3 out of 5 stars rating, because some parts are very sad and emotional. Though at times, this movie is also very funny. My favorite scene is when E.T. accidently becomes drunk, and Elliot who is at school, can sense a change because of their mental connection. It has continued to influence many movies and shows, specifically the popular sci-fi, horror TV show Stranger Things. The flying bike scene near the end is one of the most iconic moments in movie history. This film is rated PG because of a few scenes that may bother some. It is a very entertaining film, and I recommend that you watch it as soon as you can.

8-Bit Christmas is the story of a boy in the 1980’s named Jake. All he wants for Christmas is the Nintendo Entertainment System, which he believes is the greatest video game system ever made. It stars Winslow Fegley as a young Jake, June Diane Raphael as Jake’s mom, Steve Zahn as Jake’s dad, and Sophia Reid-Gantzert as his sister. It is funny, entertaining, and very heartwarming. It is one of the best comedy movies that I have ever seen and I love it.
The movie takes place in Batavia, New York in the year 1988. Jake and his friends Mikey, Evan, Tammy and her twin brother Teddy lineup daily for a chance to play Nintendo with the richest kid in town, Timothy Keane. The day they’re all picked, a certain incident happens (you’ll have to watch the movie to know what it is) and Timmy’s parents try to convince the community to ban video games altogether. Jake and his friends devise an elaborate plan to escape a school field trip and buy the Nintendo to share. But then, on the mission, disaster strikes!
In conclusion, I enjoyed this movie because of how they made the movie so nostalgic, and the humor is directed at kids. The movie is rated PG because of some mild language and a little violence. I give this movie 4.5 stars because there are a few parts that may upset animal lovers. I learned a valuable lesson from this movie: Rather than stay indoors in front of a screen, go outside.

Encanto is a movie set in the mountains of Columbia. The Madrigals live in a place called Encanto. Each one of them has a special gift that they use to help the town, everyone but Mirabel. No one knows why but people theorize that she has control of the house (casita) and of her family’s powers.
Let’s start on how the Encanto was made. Abuela Alma and Abuelo Pedro were running away to escape. Many others joined as well to settle on finding a place to live. After a while they were caught and Abuelo Pedro sacrificed himself so the others could run away safely. Abuela through all her despair, she lost all hope as she saw Abuelo die in front of her. As she cried, the miracle came to life, the Encanto took the shape of a candle and it was able to burn forever. Making the town and casita itself. Giving each kid, when they turn 6 years of age their gift.
Each family member has a unique gift of their own. Pepa controls the weather, Bruno can see the future, and Julieta can heal people with food. Dolores has super hearing, Camilo can shapeshift, and Antonio can talk to animals. Isabela can grow plants, Luisa’s super strong and Mirabel. She doesn’t have a gift.
Mirabel may not have a gift but she is really important to the story. When the Encanto slowly dies she is the one to save it and her family. She never relied on powers like the others have so she was used to living without it. She only wanted to save the Encanto for casita. It was the only thing she had. Go follow Mirabel on a journey to save casita, her family, and the encanto itself. Or not, maybe this movie is not for you!
