Every school will: 

• Establish a school-family partnership plan to communicate student literacy learning and progress throughout the school year 

• Notify families of/if:

  • their child’s universal screener scores at each administration and next steps (when applicable), including additional diagnostic assessment or intervention plans. (Family Guide to Reading Supports, NYCSA Academic Supports

  • opportunities to support their child’s literacy learning at home (Spread the Word: An NYC Reads Family Partnership Toolkit)

  • an intervention plan is initiated and the contents and partner on ways to support literacy learning at home and at each established data cycle to share progress or changes
