CEC 22 Two Student Members Vacancy

CEC 22 Needs 2 High School Student Members!

All Community and Citywide Education Councils are required by NYS Education Law to have non-voting student members. Only students who will be high school seniors during their year of service are eligible to apply.

For Community Education Councils (CECs), applicants must:

1) reside in the district (22)  where they are applying to serve (students may find out their school district by using

NYCPS's school search tool at https://www.schools.nyc.gov/find-a-school ); and

2) be a member of the elected student government or hold an elected leadership position (e.g., president of a club).

Interested students should complete the application and submit it to The Division of Family and Community Empowerment (FACE) at ccecinfo@schools.nyc.gov For further information, please email ccecinfo@schools.nyc.gov or call (212) 374 1936.
