Any vendor or entity that is interested in doing business with the DOE must be registered in our system to be able to provide such services. If you would like to see if a vendor is registered and active with the DOE, please email DECE Contracts & Purchasing Team with their Tax ID/EIN number so that we can inquire about their status.
If a vendor is not registered, is new to working with the NYC Department of Education, or has become inactive, please have them complete our W9 form and return it back to the same inbox for processing. It is imperative that this step be completed as a vendor must be registered in our system in order to have a Purchase Order set up, and payment issued.
Please note that registering new vendors takes approximately 12-16 weeks as they must get vetted and cleared by the Division of Contracts and Purchasing.
