National Co-Op Scholarship Program: The National Commission will award approximately $4 million in merit scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to seniors planning to participate in college cooperative education. The following colleges and universities are participating this year: Clarkson University, Drexel University, Johnson and Wales University, Merrimack College, Rochester Institute of Technology, State University of New York Oswego, University of Cincinnati, University of Massachusetts Lowell, Wentworth Institute of Technology and the University of Toledo. Students interested in applying should go to http://www.waceinc.org/scholarship/index.html. Requirements are a 3.5 GPA and apply and be accepted for the 2018-2019 academic year at one of the WACE Partner Institutions.  Application must be postmarked by February 15, 2019.

Walmart Foundation Scholarship Programs: The Walmart Foundation offers two scholarship programs that benefit Walmart associates and their high school senior dependents. James L. and Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship: Applicants must be Missouri residents, graduating seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 4 year college/university or have completed one or two full years at a MO Community College and transferring to a four year college or university at the sophomore or junior level.  Applicants must demonstrate limited financial resources with a family adjusted gross income of $50,000 or less and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. National FFA Organization: Each year the National FFA awards approximately $2 million in scholarships. The selection process takes into account the whole student- FFA involvement, work experience, community service, leadership skills and academics. Columbia Honda Smart Choice Scholarship Program: The Columbia Honda Scholarship Program intends to provide 9 Missouri High School Seniors who have made smart academic and life choices with a $1,000 scholarship to make the smart choice to pursue post-high school education.  See the following link for eligibility requirements http://www.komu.com/files/Smart_Choice_Scholarship.pdf  You must be nominated by your high school.  If interested, stop by the guidance office.  Application periods run from (Oct. 16-Nov. 15), (Nov. 16-Dec. 15), (Dec. 16-Jan. 15), Jan 16-Feb. 15), (Feb 16.-March 15), March 16-April 15), and (April 16-May 15). 

Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarship Program:  Hy-Vee will awards a total of 80, $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who are working for Hy-Vee or subsidiary who began employment on or before Sept. 15, 2016 or that has a parent that is a full, regular, or part-time Hy-Vee employee.  Students can pick up applications in the high school office or apply online at the following link http://www.hy-vee.com/company/scholarships/default.aspx  Deadline is February 10, 2018

PEO Sisterhood Chapter KE: A $500 local non-renewable scholarship will be given to local graduating senior girls.  Eligibility requirements include exhibits excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success, graduating girl from a Callaway County school, citizen of the U.S., miminum GPA of 3.0, and plans to attend post-secondary education full time in the fall of the academic year following graduation.  For copies of the application stop by the guidance office.  The deadline is February 15, 2018

Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship: This $1000 scholarship is designed to help worthy young women from Callaway County with college expenses as she prepares for a profession in education. In order to apply, eligible applicants must must have parent(s) who are residents of Callaway County. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline is February 1, 2017.

Community Foundation of the Ozarks Scholarships: The CFO is proud to administer some 390 scholarships as a service to the greater community.  Eligibility is most often determined by residency in a particular city or county in the Community Foundation of the Ozarks' geographical service area.  The scholarships are available as of February 1, 2017 and will be awarded in Spring of 2017 for the 2017-2018 college academic year.  For more information, please click here

Nollie & Prudence Guerrant DAR Scholarship: Scholarships will be awarded to students living in Callaway County, and will attend either Westminster College or William Woods University on a full-time basis.  Applicants must have a GPA of 2.9 on 4.0 scale.  Judges will consider extracurricular activities, paying attention to characteristics such as patriotism, leadership, and service to school and community.  The Principal or the Guidance Director, plus two other persons who are not relatives, must recommend the students.  Stop by the guidance office for the eligibility guidelines.  Applications are due by February 11, 2016 and should be sent to Nelta Cherry 224 W 6th Street Fulton, MO 65251.

 

Central MO Master Gardener Scholarships: It is the intent of the Central Missouri Master Gardeners to provide one $1,000 scholarship to recognize Master Gardener Janet Illston's contributions to the program.  Three additional $1,000 scholarships are being offered.  Requirements for eligibility include planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical/trade school for the fall term of the current year.  Applicants are limited to those who plan to study horticulture, agriculture, conservation, or forestry.  Applicants must be residents of Callaway, Cole, Moniteau, Osage, Maries or Miller county, have at least a 3.0 GPA.  Stop by the guidance office for the application.  Deadline is February 29, 2016.

University of Missouri Alumni Assocation: Incoming and transfer students are eligible to apply for our alumni scholarship program.  Attached is a scholarship application guide, which provides an overview of our application process.  Please not this is a separate application than the general scholarship application students may have completed through Mizzou, which was due on Dec. 15th.  We recommend students read over the application guide and write out their essay responses in advance, then cut and past them into the online application form when they are ready to submit.  Additionally, we recommend using either Google Chrome or Firefox for best functionality when completing the application, and should be completed on a computer rather than mobile device.  All applications are final once submitted.  Application deadline is Feb. 1st, 2015.  Visit the website http://www.mizzou.com/scholarship2015. Mediacom World Class Scholarship Program:  Just like most families, the Mediacom family believes in the importance of higher education.  Numerous $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to winning applicants.  The selection of the scholarship recipients is based on Academic Achievement, Leadership, participation in school activities, honors received, references, and participation in community activities.  Eligibility requirements include being legal residents of a community that is being served by Mediacom.  This does not mean the student has to have Mediacom service.  Applicants must intend to pursue a course of study at any accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or technical school in the U.S., they must attend the first academic year following their senior year of high school.  To download the application, click here, or stop by the guidance office for a copy.  The application should be postmarked on or before February 16, 2018.  

Missouri Corn Scholarship: High school and college students interested in a career in agronomy or other agriculture-related field are eligible for one of seven $1,000 scholarships sponsored by the Missouri Corn Growers Association and the MO Corn Merchandising Council.  Applications are available online at http://www.mocorn.org/resources/education/scholarships/  Applicants must be a high school senior, a MO resident from a MO farm or rural area, and planning to attend a two-year or four-year MO college/university.  Application must include the application form, official high school transcript, and at least one letter of recommendation from someone other than a relative.  Applications must be postmarked by February 16, 2018 to be eligible.  Applications received by fax or email will not be considered. 

Dr. Darrell “Jack” Holley/ MUSIC Scholarship: The Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC) sponsors this scholarship program. Six $2,000 nonrenewable scholarship will be awarded to students who graduate in 2018 from high schools in MUSIC member districts.  All applications must be typed, no handwritten applications will be accepted.  Your application must include one letter of recommendation from a district administrator, counselor, or teacher.  Only ONE application from each high school may be submitted.  Students must inform the guidance office of their interest by February 2nd, 2018 to be considered.

MIAAA/NIAAA Scholarship: This scholarship will foster and acknowledge the partnership between the NIAAA and secondary education.  The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership, and citizenship attributes of high school student athletes, and the importance of the high school athletics in each students life.  Applicants must be a senior, have at least 2 of the following: Minimum B+ Average, Ranked in top 25% of class, or ACT score of 24/SAT score of 1500).
