Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is a national organization of students that promotes personal growth and leadership development with family as its focus. FCCLA strives to develop character, improve critical thinking, improve interpersonal communication, gain practical knowledge, and prepare for vocations.
Any student who has ever taken a FACS (Family and Consumer Science) class is eligible to join FCCLA. (Even if the only class you've taken was in middle school)
FCCLA meets as needed depending on what we need to organize. We often have committee meetings during homeroom when we need to plan for upcoming events.
