Here is my definition of Creative and Practical Problem Solving:

To creatively and practically solve problems, you have to look at many different angles, be willing to change your view, and use many different tools to solve problems. You have to be flexible to solve problems. You also have to gather information from a variety of sources, and learn to apply information from one experience to something that might not directly correlate.

I demonstrated Creative and Practical Problem Solving with/by:

• My Orientation term project, a historically accurate ancient greek fashion show. (see Independent projects.)
• Leaving to Learn expeditions, such as our visit to VCAM and our volenteering visit to Shelburne Museum.
• Community based learning, such as interviews and shadow days. (See CBL)
