Concert Chorus

At SBHS, I attend Concert Chorus, taught by the magnificent Mrs. Bushey. The class is mainly composed of sophomores, but it was the only chorus that fit with my schedule. I am the only freshman in the class. Our Winter Concert was on Sunday the 10th. We performed Fauna Canzona, which is an italian song. We also performed Bridge Over Trouble Water, Waldesnacht, and Hold Me, Rock Me. We performed with Chambers Chorus and Mixed Chorus. I am taking this class for all of the school year. There are around 20 of us in total in Concert Chorus. Mrs. Bushey teaches us about breathing control, articulation, the International Phonetic Alphabet, making and keeping practice goals, and how to keep our voices in tip top shape. I really love this class, because I love singing and it's such a fun group of people to be in class with. I hope I can attend chorus next year, and continue on my singing path.
