I am doing a one quarter gym class, which is self defense. So far we have learned about using our voices to protect ourselves, and a variety of kicks. We have also learned about punches, bear hugs, choke holds, and a variety of other tactics. This class isn't my favorite, because I realized I don't love gym class, but it is interesting to learn how to defend myself. Being a 5'3" woman, it's a good skill to have. I don't have any physical evidence for this class, as we do all of our work in class. But I can always show off some of my moves if you want... If you're willing to fight someone who just finished a self defense course.
