STEM fair is like the Big Picture version of a Science Fair. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. (It can also be STEAM, with an A for Art.) For my STEM fair project, I am going to conduct a survey. I'm going to see if superhero videos affect your sense of justice, short term vs. long term. Below you will see my first draft of my project. Below that you will see the revised version.
How I decided to do this project: Whenever I watch a superhero movie, I feel a little different. Like I want to make a difference, or save the world. I'm wondering if other people feel this way or if it specific to just me.
How I'm going to get answers: I am going to conduct a survey outside a movie theatre, and ask people who have just seen a superhero movie to fill out my survey. Then I am going to get their email/phone number and contact them a week later.
Steps to my project:
My revised Project: I am going to show a 20 minute superhero show to a class at SBHS, and have them take a survey. In that survey, there will be a video of a bullying role play.
