What does PHS offer for Standardized Testing?
Sign-Up Required -
offered for juniors in fall of junior year
Offered on School Day Testing in spring of junior year & fall of senior year (sign up required)
Looking to take the PSAT, SAT, or AP testing with accommodations? Accommodations need to be approved by the College Board at least 6-8 weeks prior to the test you are taking. Students with accommodations listed in an IEP or 504 Plan must still formally request accommodations and have them approved by the College Board. PHS can not allow students to use any accommodations without prior approval (this includes things like testing blood sugar).
Students who wish to waive their approved accommodations for a test must see their counselor at least 48 hours prior to testing.
We strongly recommend that 10th graders take the PSAT with no accommodations to see how it goes and to better assess what they may need to be successful. Once accommodations are approved, students will be able to access them for all College Board testing while in high school.
For more information, please speak with your school counselor (or case manager). The forms they will need are linked below.

PHS offers any AP exam a PHS student would like to sign up for. Forms can be found in the School Counseling office. The deadline each year is November 15 for that springs tests (late deadline with late fee is in March).
PHS is not an ACT testing site. Use the link above for more information on the ACT and to see what the closest testing site is based on date.
