November, January, or April Graduate Requirements
Meet with your school counselor to discuss graduating early with parents/guardians. Is it in your best interest?
Write a graduation proposal stating your reason for wanting to graduate early and describe your future plans.
Complete at least one college application.
Have the attached contract signed by all members of your team. If there are questions about the plan then the team will come together to discuss.
Inform your grade office of your plans.
Decide whether or not to march in the June graduation ceremony. If you choose to participate in the graduation ceremony and activities in June, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOUR GRADE OFFICE REGARDING DEADLINES, CAPS AND GOWNS AND GRADUATION PRACTICE REQUIREMENTS.
If you participate in graduation, you will receive your diploma that night. If not, you may pick up your diploma from the Principal’s Secretary or have her mail it the Monday after graduation.
Early graduates must complete a Senior Clearance Form which requires the signature of all your teachers, several other people, your guidance counselor, and finally your grade principal. These forms will be available in the guidance office.
See the FORMS page for the Early Graduate Form AND the Senior Clearance Form.
