Clipper Careers

Portsmouth High School encourages students to explore a variety of pathway options post graduation.  This includes students pursuing full time work opportunities after they complete their high school program.  Counseling staff work closely with Seniors to identify necessary action steps and support students in developing a plan. This may include pursuit of further skills training or career paths in the skilled trades or an exit into NH industries such as manufacturing, building trades, technology, health care and hospitality services.  

Relationships with industry developed through our CTE offerings aid in our network of employer partnerships.  These connections allow students a broader range of possibilities to consider in discovering a right fit for them.  Industry partners will actively recruit at our Job and Career fair which is an offering that happens in addition to our Future Planning Fair in the Spring.
