Tips for Students

Infinite Campus (IC) and Google Classroom:

● Log on regularly to monitor grades and assignments

● Students and parents/guardians have their own separate IC  accounts

● Contact the IT Help Desk if you are experiencing difficulties logging into 

your account

Study Habits:

Prioritize time to complete assignments

● Study for test, quizzes, and assessments

● Utilize organizational tools to meet deadlines

● Develop an organizational system

Communication:

Speak with your teachers regarding any questions or concerns in class

● Teachers appreciate student engagement and want to help their 

students succeed

● If you are unable to speak with teachers during class time, email is the 

best way to reach the teacher

Utilize Academic Supports on Campus:

Teachers are available for extra help after school

● Coordinate a time and date with your teacher for extra help

● Access supports on campus during FLEX

Know Your School Counselor/Grade Office Team:

School Counselors are available to respond to questions related to 

academics, social/emotional concerns, and college and career planning

● Students can request an appointment by email or drop in the office

          ● Students will get to know their grade office team, stop by and say hello

Get Involved:

● Students are encouraged to be active in the school and greater community

● Participation in sports, clubs, and organizations on campus contribute to a 

more connected and meaningful high school experience
