McKay's Market

Previously owned by Clyde and Gladys Pettycord as Pettycord's Market,

the store was located at 2388 Market Avenue, corner of 15th Street in San Pablo.

Clyde had a 52 GMC 3/4-ton flatbed he would sell groceries from.

They lived in the house attached to the back of the store on 15th Street.

In the 1950 U.S. Federal Census for Clyde Pettycord,

his occupation is listed as Produce Peddler with his own Produce business.
