-       Elections—we need nominees for the board positions so we can hold elections—we are supposed to do it in April, but it might have to be May this year.

Vice President's Report: Chrystal Bernasconi

-   Paint night idea—Details coming.

Treasurer's Report: Becka Stephensen

   -Presentation of financial statements, including income, expenses, and current balances

Secretary’s Report: Michelle Pearson (leaving early)

Scholarship Report: Barb Lezon

   - Donations to Biren/Gibson Accounts—not sure where we are on this.  Needed details about how the donations would be made.

   The scholarship committee has kicked off and is closing soon.

Events Report: Jennifer Flohr

   - Capital Air Show Volunteers

   - Progress and planning for the upcoming All Night Graduation event

   - Best of El Camino Sept 2025 Date decisions—Caterer is secured.  Wildwood BBQ is run by alum Brian London (Class of 88).  If we feed 75-100 people it will run 17-20/person.  Brisket, chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw rolls, and all the condiments.

Together, along with encouraging parent participation, El Camino Fundamental High School’s Parent, Teacher, Student Association strives to support and recognize the well-being and educational success of our students and demonstrates appreciation and support for our teachers and staff.

PTSA Meeting Minutes

March 10.2025

**Not an Official Meeting as we do not have enough people in attendance!**

Approval of February 10, 2025, Minutes will be done at the April Meeting as we do not have enough people in attendance today.

Admin Report:

ECHS will receive Title I Funding in the 2025-2026 year. This funding helps close the achievement gaps for low socio-economic groups. The school must reach a threshold of 60% or more of the student body classified as low-income. There will be a needs assessment to allocate the funds. This allocation with be voted on by the site council at the meeting on April 8, 2025, at 3:30 pm. Some ideas include EL students, literacy, and math.

VP Report:

Paint Night is still in the works.

Treasurer Report:

2025 Raffle Permit to be re-submitted as our 2021-2022 Tax Filing is complete.

Scholarship Report:

PTSA Website is up and running.

Social Media Report:

The newsletter is up. Scholarship links are up.

Events Report:

• Capitol Air Show has about 22 of the 30 needed volunteers.

• All Night Grad is accepting donations. Don Quixote’s will provide free tacos. They are hunting a hypnotist. They are working on an All Night Grad Mailing--perhaps in can be included in grades mailed home.

• El Camino Showcase is scheduled for September 27, 2025, at Country Club Lanes.

Other Business:

• Freshman Orientation is on March 18, 2025, beginning at 5:00 pm. We will run a table for 2025-2026 advanced Membership.

• Senior Forum is on April 24, 2025. We will run a table advertising All Night Grad.
