The School Site Council (SSC) is a collaborative decision-making group composed of school staff, parents/guardians, and, at the high school level, students. The SSC is responsible for developing, reviewing, and monitoring the school’s Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and ensuring that school resources—especially supplemental funds such as Title I—are used to improve student outcomes.
If you are 10th or 11th grade and are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Dr. Brown.
Files in Student Google Drive - Make a copy of any work you'd like to save and save it in your personal account now. On May 28th at midnight, all access to your student records and files will be turned off. You will not be able to access any documents or files in your student google drive once you have graduated.
The district is now offering Google Takeout as an option to transfer your files. Instructions for using Google Takeout are here.
Student-issued materials - Ms. Gates in the library is currently accepting any materials that seniors will no longer need for the remainder of the year. Dear Students - If you think you may have a D/F grade this semester and need to ask about summer school registration, please stop by the counseling office or message your school counselor on Canvas this week.
If your parent is releasing you early, remind them that they need to email missionbayattendance@sandi.net with ATLEAST one hour notice.
If they can't notify one hour in advance, it is recommended that they come into the office with a photo ID to avoid delay in releasing you.
Monday, June 8, 2026 (On or After): If you plan to play a sport for Mission Bay High in 2026-27, you must get an athletic physical as part of your Athletic Clearance.
You can get a physical from your preferred physician but the date of your physicial can not be before 6/8.
Saturday, June 13, 2026: Our district has partnered with UCSD and ATvantage to offer potential student athletes a physical for $10 (cash only) at Canyon Hills High School on Saturday, June 13th from 8am-12pm.
