The College Showcase on Thursday, October 16

Exploring Solutions will be hosting The College Showcase on THURSDAY, October 16th, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Scripps Ranch High School gym. This event will provide San Diego Unified students and families with a valuable opportunity to connect directly with college admissions counselors and learn more about higher education options.

Location: Scripps Ranch High School Gym/ 10410 Falcon Way/ San Diego /92131
Participating Colleges: Over 90 institutions, including many UC and Cal State campuses, as well as private, small, midsize, and large universities from across California and the United States.
The College Showcase is designed to expand access and awareness of postsecondary opportunities for all San Diego Unified students. We hope students from across our district will take advantage of this event, especially those who may be exploring college options for the first time.
Seniors - Please check how your name is displayed in Powerschool. Please notify Ms. Irene Gil, the Registrar, if you have any changes or corrections for the printing of your diploma.
The last day to submit Senior Content is November 10th.
Senior Content is 1) Senior SELFIE, 2) Senior QUOTE, and 3) BABY BUC.
Space is limited, so if we do not receive Senior Content by the deadline, it will not be included in the 25-26 Yearbook.

CalRTA is offering $2,500 scholarships to graduating seniors from San Diego Unified School District. The scholarship is open to students who plan to pursue a career in education and will attend an accredited 4-year college or university in the fall. Applications are due March 20, 2026.

San Diego Unified has released the 2025-26 Family Resource Guide (formerly Facts for Parents). This guide includes important updates, family resources, and district policies for the new school year.
Parent/Guardian - Please log in to your Parent Portal (on a web browser) to complete annual forms AND review your student's enrollment information.

Review the Family Resource Guide and complete the one-question confirmation form.
Fill out the Universal Form (media release, technology use, discipline acknowledgement).
Update Your Information
Review Demographics, Address and Student Contacts for accuracy
Review Additional Information tab with questions specific for high school students
Completing these required forms ensures your child can participate in media events, have their work showcased, and access important school resources.
