2026 Summer Paid Leadership Internship Program in partnership with CCTE, Teach Lead, FranklinCovey Education, and Leader in Me.
This 5-week, paid summer internship is open to currently enrolled SDUSD high school students who are 16 years old or older and interested in leadership, education, and career exploration. The program provides hands-on experience working with elementary students, professional development, and leadership training.

The love story of the Chicano Movement in San Diego told through the lives of Linda and Carlos LeGerette who played a pivotal role in helping advance the cause of the Mexican American community in the cities and in the agricultural fields of California.

Sign Up Now to Take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Test on Fri, February 6th
Attention 10th-12th graders: Need some help figuring out your strengths and potential future careers? The ASVAB exam is coming to Mission Bay High on Friday, February 6 during periods 6 and 7. This test will help you to identify what you're good at and learn about potential options after high school. This free test is not pass or fail. Click here for more information and to sign up. Progress Reports!
The term ends in just 2 weeks! Thursday, Feb 12th.
Reivew grades in Canvas and Powerschool now so that you have time to get the supports you need! Check in with your teachers, attend ACES befor or after school, visit TREAT teachers at lunch and get any work done before the term ends.
Remember that progress report grades determine your eligibility to participate in Athletics. They will be emailed to parents/guardians the following Friday Friday, 20th.

Mon, March 9th - THIS IS AN INSTRUCTIONAL DAY to replace the Walkout Day (B Day)
SDUSD will honor the SDEA strike and close schools on February 26, 2026. Closing schools for one day will ensure that students are not placed in situations where adequate supervision, instructional continuity, and campus safety cannot be reliably maintained.
The make-up date for classes will be on March 9th to ensure students receive the instructional time and services to support their success.

ACES TUTORING - Open before and after school in the Library! Every Monday through Friday in the mornings from 7:30 - 8:30 and every Monday through Thursday in the afternoons from 3:30 - 5:00. We have teachers across all subject areas to help you!
TREAT is held everyday at lunch please report by 1:30 Students can make up a tardy in the auditorium with Mrs. Filamor or with a participating teacher.
