"Visible learning" is a teaching strategy employed by teachers at the European School and a focus area of the Department for Children and Youth (BUF) to make learning 'visible' to the students and thereby improve their learning outcomes, Visible learning and teaching occurs when teachers see learning through the eyes of students and help them become their own teachers, e.g. ensuring the students understand their tasks and learning goals and frequently assess and review what they have learnt.
The school has a shared vision with Sankt Annæ Gymnasium:
We educate to instil insight and a global mindset. We create the future voices of the world.
