A group of SAE audio students have been assigned the role of creating and editing audio for a film production titled "Deli". This group of students project was to produce audio for the film students’ production by creating non diegetic and diegetic sounds while also assisting with audio mixing and mastering. Each group member within the audio team had particular roles in ensuring the audio elements reached the desired standard. The roles within the project included a lead composer (Charles Inopiquez), a trio of audio engineers (Charles Inopiquez, Shaine Pereira, Robert Walkland), a foley recorder (Grace Ryan), a field recorder (Jess Della Vecchia), a trio of music producers/composers (Charles Inopiquez, Willow Fearns, Dante Rives) and a team of mixing engineers (Blayne Hull, Charles Inopiquez, Willow Fearns, Dante Rives, Grace Ryan, Shaine Pereira).
The film project is titled "Deli". The film is being directed by Cassandra who is a film student at SAE. The film includes two male actors fighting a zombie apocalypse, with scenes based in a car, and at a car park in front of a Deli. It begins with the two male characters having an argument, which leads into stirring tension. The two main characters do eventually resolve their issues and get back on the same page, which leads them to the climax of the film, which is the zombie encounter.
