Hands

Through the eyes of a photograph

This photo was one of my first times ever heavily photoshopping an image and it was much more interesting than I expected the photo on the top was taken in the reflection on top of a barrel in my garage the reflection from the water in the barrel was then taken and the border was made black and the hands were made darker than the reflection of the camera, and a photograph of an overgrown boat was put where the camera was. This puts the person looking at the photograph in the eyes of the photographer as if they are taking the picture and the subject is extremely focused giving the photograph depth and contrast from the black border to the washed out white of the boat and the bright greens of the tall grass and the tree. This photo works compositionally but the photoshop work needs to be improved a little, the photo looses some of its impact from the mediocre photoshopping.
