I like this photos because of the simplistic colors and the mechanical nature of the photograph.

Canyon de Chelly by Ansel Adams. I am drawn to this image because the great variation Ansel could get between black and white with a film camera, it really does a great job showing the depth of this photo.

Heather in Bloom North York Moors by John Robinson. I was drawn to this picture because of how there is layers of color, starting with the orange of the sun and ending with the purple of the flowers.

I am drawn to this image because of the sense of size that it creates. although this worked better when the image was larger with more detail.
