Analogous Color

This photograph was taken during a hike, with my iphone 7, as my analogous color photograph i wanted to excentuate the mix of green ground and blue sky. because of the mountains created a mid-high horizon line making the bottom of the photograph completely green would have been overpowering so i outlined john towards the bottom of the photograph to add balance to the picture and also a sense of depth. the photo went flat as soon as i added the colors to it, so i kept john fully colored to regain the depth of the photograph and i think this works rather nicely to balance the top and bottom of the photo. one thing that i could have done to this photo if i was more well versed in photoshop would be to add a third analogous color in the trees, so there would be the three part mixture of colors, but as i tried to do this i could not select just the trees i think more practice with photoshop would be beneficial to my photo composition techniques and overall could have made this photo stonger.
