Donate Life

For this project we had to create a piece that promotes people to become an organ donor. It had to include the words "Organ and Tissue Donation" I used the red queen from Alice in Wonderland and used the slogan "Be someone's queen with organ and tissue donation"

I started with a sketch of the queen in pencil and decided that I didn't want it to take away from the words so I used pen and stippled her skin. I then used a brush pen to make the texture in her hair. After that I used water color to shade her skin with a light grey wash along with the red lips and blue eyeshadow. After that I drew her staff but used a heart instead of a crown. Then I drew the word in red and it still looked like the background needed something, so I added light grey hearts.
