Organ and Tissue Donation

For this project we had to create a work that influences teens to check yes on organ donation. I created a lightbulb with the words " organ and tissue" as the part that's lit up and the word donation in the bottom of the bulb. I also wrote the phrase " Brighten someone's day donate life" across the top and bottom.

I first started with an outline of the lightbulb in pencil along with the lettering. I then went in with watercolor and painted the background purple and the lightbulb yellow to contrast one another. I decided that the background was too plain so I added purple flowers to add a more interesting aspect. Then I went over the lettering in paint pens. After that I added the white glare to the lightbulb with white paint pen.
