value strip

In this assignment we had to draw a value strip with 10 different squares, each one has a different design. The title of my work is called "value strip". I used the following mediums to create my work: Pencil, pen, and ink. Some techniques I used were drawing and outlining. I used the following elements of art in my artwork: line, shape, texture, value, and space. To add interest to my piece I used these principles of design: pattern and rhythm. This completed work makes me feel happy. By creating this project I learned that I like creating designs. In the future I may try to use these designs in my artwork to improve. I added my own style by making multiple different designs.
