Gelatin project

The title of my project is called "harbor". I created a gelatin ink print out. I used physical designs like rope and string and rubber and net to create detail. I used ink for a medium to create my work. Some of the art making techniques I used were shading with my pen. I used shape, texture, and space for elements of art. To add interest to my composition, I used these principles of design: pattern, unity, and contrast. This artwork is about the natural design that everyday materials create like net and rope. This completed artwork makes me feel happy because I think they look cool. By creating this artwork I learned that I like art like this that shows the use of space and detail. In future pieces of art i may try using more net to improve. I added my own original style by filling the whole block with details I guess.
